2026年6月18日、チェコ共和国のフラデツ・クラーロヴェ大学よりLeona Stašová（レオナ・スタショヴァー）副学長が本学を公式訪問されました。今回の協議では、両大学間の学術連携をさらに深めることを中心に、学生交流の拡大、日本語教育の支援、そして新たな研究者交流の推進について幅広く意見交換が行われました。

今年の秋より、本学からフラデツ・クラーロヴェ大学へ2名の学生を派遣することが決定しており、両大学間の学生交流における第一歩となります。また、今後もフラデツ・クラーロヴェ大学との学生交流をさらに推進していくことが両者で確認されました。

フラデツ・クラーロヴェ大学における日本語教育を推進するため、下関市立大学側がサポートを提案しました。フラデツ・クラーロヴェ大学の学生が本学へ留学するにあたり、日本語および日本文化への理解を深められるよう、具体的な協力体制を構築していくことが確認されました。

さらに、チェコの伝統織物やレース、下関の伝統産業をテーマとした幅広い意見交換が行われ、お互いの文化に対する理解と共同研究を両大学間で深めていくことが確認されました。

On June 18, 2026, Vice-Rector Leona Stašová of the University of Hradec Králové (Czech Republic) paid an official visit to our university. The meeting covered a wide range of topics centered on deepening the academic partnership between the two institutions, with particular focus on student exchange programs, Japanese language education, and a new avenue of research collaboration.

It was confirmed that two students from our university will be dispatched to the University of Hradec Králové as early as this autumn, marking a concrete first step in bilateral student mobility. Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding student exchange between the two universities going forward.

Our university proposed providing support for the promotion of Japanese language education at the University of Hradec Králové. Both parties confirmed a cooperative framework to help Hradec Králové students deepen their knowledge of the Japanese language and culture in preparation for study at our university.

In addition, both parties engaged in a wide-ranging exchange of views on the themes of traditional Czech textiles and lace, and the traditional industries of Shimonoseki. Both sides confirmed their shared commitment to deepening mutual cultural understanding and advancing joint research between the two universities.
